We are thrilled to welcome you all to the 2024-2025 West Essex Football Season! Each new season brings fresh excitement, and this year is particularly special. We have several updates that are important for both new and returning families as we kick off the year.
Firstly, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Marsh family (Ron and Kamni) and CJ Demarco, who have stepped down from their roles on the WEFC Board after many years of dedicated service. Their contributions over the years have been invaluable, and WEFC would not be what it is today without their efforts. We are deeply grateful for the countless hours they have devoted to our club.
We are pleased to introduce the new board members and their roles:

As a community-based organization, the board is always looking for more volunteers. If you're interested in getting involved or learning more about how you can help, please reach out to us at [email protected].
We also wanted to outline what your child(ren) will be provided by WEFC during the upcoming season:
Fall/Spring Seasons:
Additionally, they will participate in an indoor tournament during the winter. While there may be opportunities for additional tournaments, these would need to be funded and coordinated by the team families and coaches. We will share any tournament opportunities throughout the season for your consideration.
Practice days and times for the fall have been updated on TeamSnap, which is the team management system used by WEFC. If you are a new family, you will want to download TEAMSNAP to your phone.
We're excited to introduce the West Essex Fan Gear store, where you can purchase all of your WEFC fan merchandise. The store is owned and operated by a WEFC family, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated back to our program. We can't wait to see you all on the sidelines in your new gear!
As a reminder, if you have not ordered the required uniform from Soccer Zone, it is important to get that done. At this point we will not be able to guarantee the uniform will be delivered by the time games start.
Lastly, the overall success of WEFC is collectively shared by all of us. To ensure we are working together to deliver a quality experience we have created the 2024/205 survey so we can better understand your expectations of WEFC and how you can contribute to our program.
